Based on our readings and class discussion, how will you create a learning environment that is conducive to learning?
There are many things to consider when talking about conducive learning. The thing that I find very important is knowing your students on a level that you will know what is conducive to their personal learning. If a student needs their alone time, they should get their alone time. If a student thrives from student interactions then they should be provided an appropriate environment to foster that. Know you students learning styles and what they can benefit from. It is important that the classroom be stimulating and motivating. Create an environment that fosters a sense of community. Create an environment where the teacher and move around and have easy access to every student. The way the room is arranged is key. Decorate the walls with encouraging, meaningful poster or students work. If they know someone is proud of their hard work then they will feel more accomplished. A conducive learning environment is a key to your students success.
